My Everyday Make Up Essentials

On a normal day, I'm rushing around in the morning attempting to get ready for school or go run errands, which means I have my make up routine pretty much set in stone. I like to mix drugstore products with higher end products for my everyday make up routine.
Getting Ready with Me

Moisturizer
I've mentioned before that my skin is dry and sensitive, so I have a hard time finding moisturizers that don't break me out or result in a nasty rash. Currently, I'm using the Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer by First Aid for my morning moisturizer. I'm also a fan of the Aveeno Positively Radiant,  but it is not as moisturizing as this one. I also like using the Origins Ginzing for under my eyes! It makes my eyes really pop and look awake.
Concealer/Foundation
On a normal day, I don't use foundation because it feels too heavy on my skin. For a spot concealer, I like to use Benefit's Erase Paste and for an under eye concealer I like to use Maybelline's Dream Lumi Concealer. This is one of the best drugstore concealers I have found, and it doesn't crease!
Powder
For a setting powder, I like to use Revlon's Nearly Naked. Nearly Naked doesn't feel heavy on your skin and it provides a little coverage on top of your foundation and concealer.
Eyeshadow
I am not a huge fan of bright color shadows, so I usually stick with neutrals when applying my eye makeup. I am a huge fan of the Naked palettes by Urban Decay, but my current favorite is the Lorac Unzipped palette. The shades are super pigmented and there is little fallout. My favorite drugstore eye shadow is the Covergirl trio in Shimmering Sands.
Mascara
Benefit's They're Real! mascara is one of the best. However, I have tried most of the Maybelline mascaras, and I have enjoyed all of them I have tried.
Blush
Jouer's blush in bloom is a current favorite, as well as Dandelion by Benefit. For a highlighter I like to use High Beam by Benefit.
Lip
Korres has an amazing lip product, but another favorite for in the morning is Revlon lip butters, especially the more wine colored ones for winter!

Stocking Stuffers

I am so so sorry I haven't posted in almost a month. School has been so hectic, and I've been studying for exams and unpacking our things at our new house! Christmas is going to be here soon, so I thought today I would share with you some of the things I think would make perfect stocking stuffers!
Stocking Stuffers

How adorable is this cat iPhone case? I think this would be the perfect gift for a friend who is obsessed with cats (I know I am!) or who enjoys a cute phone case.
I have several of these on the go chargers and I like to keep them in my car, at the house, and at school in case I'm ever without my actual charger and need to charge my phone up really quickly. They're the perfect gift for someone who is always using their phone or has an iPhone prone to dying quickly.
I can't say enough good things about Josie Maran products. I have super dry and sensitive skin, and Josie Maran's argan oil is one of the few things that keeps my skin feeling comfortable.
These socks are so cute and quirky! Perfect for your friend who is always cold, or someone who likes penguins.
I picked Juicy Couture because their fragrance sets typically include a perfume that is floral, one that is spicy and one that is sugary but any fragrance travel set would be a lovely gift/stocking stuffer idea because it gives the person the opportunity to try several different perfumes out. I also like the Sephora fragrance samplers because they include a gift certificate to redeem for a full size perfume!
Butter London makes the best nail polish.  I love these so much, and I think they would be an adorable stocking stuffer.
